Great thoughts Jim. I too remember all of those things. I’m glad to hear you are looking forward to what will come in the future. On the other hand, I am a bit fearful of the future. I know I have to keep informed and up to date, otherwise, I will really be too old.
You're right, I should have included them. I'm not old enough to remember this, but my former in-laws used to tell me about the ice guy coming to bring ice for their icebox before refrigerators became more common.

I'm still waiting for them to develop a time machine so I can occasionally revisit those pre-internet days and not be stalked by my cellphone.
